Via Luna X Os Cane
Printed in Montreal on premium fine art paper
A meeting between heart and art.
This uterus, the ultimate symbol of femininity and the cradle of human creation, was commissioned from Roxane Lessard (aka Os cane) by Émilie Bergeron, doula and feminine companion, to adorn the website of her company Via Luna. In her quest for the ideal artist, Émilie found in Os cane's art the sensitivity, the softness of the feminine and the graphic poetry that she was looking for. She also found a great woman in the artist that she is. Émilie describes Os cane's art by comparing it to a personal introspection, expressed outside of oneself. In her words, Os cane declared that Émilie was the first person to describe her art better than herself. In this connection, Roxane was able to synthesize Émilie's spirit and implement this piece that testifies to a communion between two women and symbolizes the inner strength and softness of the feminine. It is in this interiority and this gentleness that Émilie accompanies women within Via Luna.
